Sweetwater Ranch is a mastered planned community started in 2004. Covering over 2000 acres in the middle of limestone and hill country, this development created a variety of sewer design challenges. It had originally been designed with a gravity sewer system in place with deep trenches and 15 lift stations throughout the project. E/One’s pressure sewer system was able to eliminate all but one of those lift stations and could easily handle the unusually high head conditions. Because pressure sewer only requires shallow trenches just below the frost line less excavation was needed, and E/One proved to be a much more cost-efficient solution.
